My biggest challenge so far is the T100 Triathlon.
I’ve been training for months to take part, and if all goes to plan, I should become one of the youngest official competitors in the event.
The twist is that I’m doing it in a tuxedo.
Not because it’s practical. It is absolutely not practical. But because it makes the challenge memorable, slightly chaotic, and hopefully powerful enough to get people behind the cause.

I’m doing this in memory of my grandmother, who suffered with Alzheimer’s, dementia and cancer.
That has made the whole journey much more meaningful than I expected.
This is not just about finishing a race. It is about doing something difficult, memorable and personal for someone who meant a lot to me.
The tuxedo is the bit people notice.
The reason behind it is the bit that matters.
Training for the T100 has introduced me to a completely new world of endurance sport.
It has pushed me physically, mentally, and occasionally made me question whether formalwear and triathlon were ever supposed to meet.
But it has also made me fall in love with endurance racing.
I now hope to keep building from this and eventually compete in Ironman events.
One of the best parts of the journey has been the support I’ve received.
I’ve managed to fundraise nearly all of my kit through sponsors, brands, friends and local companies, which has shown me how generous people can be when they believe in what you’re doing.
Every bit of support has helped turn this from a slightly mad idea into something real.

One day. One challenge. A lifetime of memories.
Every stroke, every pedal, every step – it’s all worth it.
